Our Diagnostics business currently has an opportunity for a Software Systems Engineer Cyber. This position can be based in our Irving, TX office. The candidate should have good experienced with software system engineering with experience in new product development and maintenance of software for medical Instruments. Displays standard software engineering principles to resolve difficult problems, from conception, design and delivery, selection and adaptation of various engineering techniques, procedures and criteria with minimal guidance.
What You’ll Work On
Responsible for working within a collaborative, multi-discipline environment to produce deliverable products as part of an Agile team.Responsible to Identify risks, analyze risks for severity of consequences and likelihood of occurrence, prepare for technical risk mitigation, monitor status of each technical risk, Implement technical risk mitigation and contingency action plans.Responsible to define and managing Requirements, document expectations and confirm requirements baseline for new and existing products.Understand the point of view of the user (including End User, Marketing, Service, Regulatory, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Service, etc.) and ensure the stakeholders expectation are addressed throughout the project.Responsible to analyze scope of the technical problem, review design and product constraints, define functional and behavioral expectations in acceptable technical terms, define the performance requirements for each defined functional and behavioral expectation, define technical requirements.Support the planning and coordination with multiple discipline engineering and maintenance teams to address technical issues.Support product verification and analyze product verification outcomes.Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science or cyber security or similar Engineering curriculum.Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years’ experience in software development of complex systems.Master Degree with 0-1 years’ experience in software development of complex systems.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of the Systems Engineering lifecycle or Software Development lifecycle.Knowledge of Agile software development models.Ability to the identify, manage, and mitigate product cyber risks.Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
