Software Systems Specialist IV (ASP.NET and C# Expert Developer) - CMC IT – Remote (SE Texas Area)

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and five years relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the role may be considered for this position.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

7 years experience in C# programming is required. Experience with programming in Oracle is a plus.

 

Job Summary:

To provide the technical expertise required to support and advance application and system software functions of the computer installation at the decision-making level.

  

Job Duties:

Under general direction, this position is responsible for providing analysis and documentation of business and management problems for systems and programming requirements. Assists in providing solutions to problems utilizing more efficient operational procedure, workflow, and information technology solution. 

Focus primarily on pharmacy information custom developed applications Primarily responsible for software development using ASP.NET/C#, Winforms, WCF Writing SQL queries and stored procedures. Performs related duties as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong understanding of objected oriented programming. Experience and proficiency in .NET/C#, WCF, ASP.NET (MVC and Webforms), Winforms Web development, including knowledge in: HTML, CSS, ASP, Javascript & AJAX. Experience and proficiency in SQL (Oracle and/or SQL Server). Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python. Understanding of ETLs and familiarity with SSIS and SSAS/OLAP data cubes. Familiarity with C++/Visual C++ is a huge plus.

 

Salary Range:

 Actual salary commensurate with experience.

 

 Work Schedule:

 Remote position: 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
