Meet the Team We are a small and agile unit (agile in the sense of moving precisely and timely, not necessarily "Agile" as project management -- although we do that too!), and we strongly rely on the interactions of our various teams to achieve our success. We want you to be a part of an exciting team as we define the direction of our Performance Analytics product lines. We operate in a "You build it, you run it" mode, where everyone is actively participating in maintaining and improving our software. Your Impact * Your main task will be to help drive the evolution of the performance of our Provider Connectivity Assurance Orchestrator platform * You will have the chance to work with a strong R&D organization, a strong leadership team, and showcase your technical expertise around scalable, robust and predictable software platforms and practices * Provide technical leadership and guidance * Mentor and coach team members to improve their skills and knowledge * Collaborate with stakeholders and other team members to define software architecture, components, and patterns to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance * Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, API documentation, and user guides * Mediate feature requirements from Product Line Management in order to facilitate implementation breakdown by developers * Identify and implement opportunities for code optimization, performance improvement, and scalability enhancements * Facilitate product-wide feature interaction roadmaps Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with 7 or more years of engineering experience * Experience working with Docker containers * Coding experience with Java * Experience working with databases, either SQL or Postgres Preferred Qualifications: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong design skills in realizing scalable software solutions * Strong knowledge of system integration and design for performance and scalability especially in a virtual environment * Distributed Communication / Management Technologies * OS and cloud: Cloud operations experience in GCE and/or AWS, (Azure experience is an asset), Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, KVM \#WeAreCisco #WeAreCisco where every individual brings their unique skills and perspectives together to pursue our purpose of powering an inclusive future for all.
