Overview Job Purpose ICE Mortgage Technology is seeking a Software Test Analyst to support both manual and automated testing of proprietary software applications. The Software Test Analyst will create and maintain the processes of the division's quality assurance program. Responsibilities Performs complex QA work; focus on monitoring and administering quality assurance concepts, practices, and tools currently in place Develops, maintains and upgrades Manual and Automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans. Contributes to team by performing analysis, monitoring systems, and assisting technical & product managers in the evaluation of QA processes; assists with debugging and enhancing applications Responsible for reviewing software applications objectively, working with Business Analysts and End-Users to understand requirements and Developers to understand the impact of changes; uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Demonstrates a strong understanding of how assigned tasks contribute to internal Quality Assurance processes Solves complex problems in QA and provides solutions based on judgment and existing precedents or procedures May teach or train junior colleagues on QA processes and procedures, and report performance to management Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms Controls and manages own daily test activities Performs other related duties as assigned Knowledge and Experience BA/ BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or equivalent 4-6+ Years of experience in QA engineering or application development Knowledge of QA methods, tools, and technology used in software testing Ability to write and execute test cases Basic knowledge of C# and understanding of .NET strongly preferred Experience with QA Automation and relevant tools (i.e. Selenium) strongly preferred Detail oriented with strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to report problems and clarify requirements Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of 1 day per week.
