About the role:
As a Software Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the development of fintech products that are changing the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve consulting on software development or operations processes, quality practices, quality audits and software measurements.
What you will be doing:
Review Deployment documents, functional and non-functional specifications test strategies, business requirements, flowcharts, and process maps to evaluate the simplicity of the process and remove possible incident or minimize error during release deployment.Organize meeting with Release Manager, Software developers and Internal support team prior to deployment releases phase or project to get together and plan timelines and test requirements.Working closely with all internal support parties support to ensure quality of delivery is meet during and after deployment release if issues arise.Create Test plans and Preparing test case for upcoming release.Maintains and upgrades manual or automated test scripts, test data and test tools required to execute test plans. Replicate and report defects to support team, to verify defect fixes to be re-test for the release deployed.Organize and plan testing support for both internal and external clients after release deployment and provide testing support during testing after handover of the software release into their testing environment. Executing regression/ API testing in SIT and UAT to validate application and scheme certification. Coordinate and raise SNOW defects tickets found on the 1st cycle phase of the deployment release found in our own connected testing environment and prepare status reports to our Release Manager, software developers and support team to action accordingly.Maintaining Monthly SLA and volume report status to be presented to our clientsComply with all FIS policies and proceduresOther related duties assigned as needed (ad hoc task)
What you will need:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related.Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance ideally in Automated TestingIdeally with experience working in Banking and Finance, technology consulting or IT vendorsKnowledge of application development, software testing and quality management.Experience with primary database engines and the ability to write data validation and troubleshooting queries.Expertise in at least one object-oriented language.
