Your official position will be Software Test Automation Engineer, and you will be working on advanced Infotainment systems. These innovative multi-domain multimedia devices based on embedded Linux and Android solutions, are delivered to premium brands and OEMs worldwide. You will handle creating software and/or hardware tools and environments used for test automation of systems that are designed, developed, and tested at Aptiv. You will have an opportunity to design and implement new solutions to extend our existing automated test environments.
Your background
At least bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or science (or last year of college education)
Knowledge of computer programming/scripting languages; knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Python, C++, C, TCL
Basic knowledge of electronics and measurements tools
Creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Experience in software testing
Willingness to learn new automotive technologies and future solutions
Experience with POSIX (Linux/Unix) operating systems
Knowledge of databases systems (SQL, Hadoop)
Familiarity with web application development (PHP, JavaScript)
Good command of English
Your tasks
Implementing and documenting tools for test automation
Implementing and documenting tools for test process automation
Cooperation with different teams for constant improvement of test automation and testing process automation tools
Maintenance of Test process automation systems
Technical problems solving and support for test teams according to using and troubleshooting of delivered tools.
Active participation in the design and review of automated testing tools
Active participation in technical and organizational innovation programs
