What You Will Do:
Design, develop, and execute tests for web applications using SQL/NoSQL databases, Java-based application servers, queuing services, and APIs.Build and maintain automated test scripts with Java-based tools like Gauge and Selenium WebDriver.Identify, troubleshoot, and document technical issues with clear and actionable defect reports.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using frameworks like Jenkins and GoCD.Work closely with developers to ensure applications meet performance and functionality standards.Maintain detailed test plans, scripts, and results to drive continuous improvement.Advocate for best testing practices, tools, and techniques to enhance product quality.What You Need to Have:
Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.3+ years of experience in automated testing of web applications with complex business logic.Proficiency in Java-based testing tools like Gauge and Selenium WebDriver.Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins or GoCD.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes.Strong understanding of application functionality to drive high-value testing strategies.Ownership mindset with accountability for identifying and resolving issues.What Would Be Great to Have:
Experience with testing native mobile applications and supporting web services.Familiarity with electronic payment products and providers.Background in performing end-to-end validation of business processes with multiple verification points.Knowledge of security testing, particularly in payment systems.Experience with performance and load testing for web applications.Important info about this role:
