Detailed Job Description: 

The Sr QA Analyst will drive the test approach and perform deep testing of our Salesforce requirements/features by performing static analysis of user stories with the goal of truly understanding the feature.  Collaborate with the team to help build the right system by using a curious mind to ask the “what if” questions to help flesh out requirements.  The Sr QA Analyst will use their knowledge of test design to create rich scenarios that will serve as the input for automation.  The Sr QA Analyst will also perform all levels of testing including but not limited to exploratory, integration and end–to-end testing by applying the appropriate techniques.  Successful candidates will possess a passion for learning new testing methodologies and techniques and have a natural curiosity to do vigorous deep dive testing. He or she will also possess the technical acumen to test at every layer of our technical stack. The Sr QA Analyst must be easy to work with, an ongoing student of the testing craft, have critical thinking skills and understand testing is an essential component of the entire development life cycle. Because this position requires working in a close-knit team environment, the Sr QA Analyst must quickly learn to trust and rely on his or her teammates realizing that each team member shares the common goal of making the team successful. Therefore, the Sr QA Analyst must communicate professionally, clearly and boldly. 

Job Responsibilities: 

Promote quality within all aspects of development  Analyze user stories and technical requirements for validity, feasibility and technical soundness  Apply the appropriate test design based on the technology or application to be tested  Drive testing strategy conversations to help provide the best experience for our customers  Execute Salesforce functional testing such as functional, exploratory, integration and automated regression  Execute non-functional testing such as browser compatibility, usability and internationalization  Continuously make improvements to agile processes, testing practices and methods  Effectively manage individual workload and manage priorities  Ability to lead medium projects from concept to delivery  Ability to lead team members to deliver the projects  Provide the test standard documents.  Maintain solid level of knowledge in Salesforce application  Demonstrate a passion for learning new processes and techniques  Must be able to work independently with limited supervision  Participate in Community of Practice activities and support improvements 

Qualifications (Required): 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent work experience  5-10 years of testing experience  Automation experience is added advantage.  In-cycle experience applying testing techniques, e.g. SCRUM or Agile  Experience writing SQL queries and strong knowledge of relational database structure  Exposure to SOAP and REST testing  Possess a solid understanding of Salesforce applications  Excellent communication skills  Provide the test reports and summary of the testing progress.
