You will design and create test conditions, procedures, methods & tools/scripts for verification/validation of the company's products. As a master of tools and techniques you will execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function. Development of automation strategy/effort to perform automated testing cycles. Execute and analysis automation test results._ _​_ **Required Competencies:** + _Hands on experience of Automation tools & Technologies like Selenium, Appium, etc._ + _Having hands on experience with at least one scripting/programming language like Python, Java, C# etc._ + _Working experience in Agile development process_ + _Active member of a highly skilled and motivated testing team_ + _Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them in to test cases which capture all possible test conditions._ + _Engage in cross team collaboration to enhance the test efficiency across the groups_ + _Interfacing with overseas counterparts frequently to resolve issues._ + _Peer reviews for code and design to reduce testability issues_ + _Working knowledge in developing test cases and the surrounding test environment_ + _Experience in Home automation or Security domain would be an added advantage_ + _Experience in working with hardware_ + _Onsite experience in testing at customer or partner sites would be beneficial_ + _Excellent communication and written skills_ + _Must demonstrate flexibility in work hours to meet important customer deliverables and project deadlines as required_ _​_ **Desired Competencies:** + _Experience in Software test tools like Selenium, Visual Studio Test, SOAP UI, Eclipse, etc._ + _Experience in scripting languages like Perl and VB_ + _Experience with test frameworks is crucial_ + _Experience with integrated test environments would be added advantage_ + _Good system level debugging skills are an advantage._ + _Able to work independently, manage multiple projects to completion on schedule in a dynamic and fast paced environment_ + _Willing to travel occasionally across geographical boundaries_ **We Celebrate Who We Are!** Allegion is committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.
