Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Software Tester (508 Compliance) for one of our clients.  The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.

Responsibilities

Responsible for auditing a suite of 36 modules for accessibility compliance. While auditing a module, you will document concerns as stories in JIRA. You will also attend design sessions as the accessibility advocate.

Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts.

Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.

Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.

Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree, or 3 years work experience, or an Associate's Degree with 2 years experience

Experience with JAWS, ANDI, and WAVE

Experience with the WCAG success criterion

Experience with accessibility auditing and documenting remediation plans

Certified DHS Trusted Tester

Experience with JIRA/CONFLUENCE

Working knowledge of the SAFe methodology

Experience with PegaMust be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.Able to develop strong client relationships. About Us
