Job Summary:
Our development organization has transformed into a Scaled Agile environment and is seeking a Software Tester. In this role, you will be working in an Agile team sought at delivering outstanding process automation products built across web, cloud, PC, and embedded platforms coordinated with internally developed devices. The ideal candidate has experience and deep understanding of customer scenarios in the process control and automation industry. The successful candidate should be able to advocate for quality and customers, work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with a wide range of people, experience levels, and technical backgrounds.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
Work as Software Tester within a cross-functional team in an agile environment, having deep understanding of customer scenarios in the process control and automation industry as well as broad skills in contributing to other end-to-end activities of the software development lifecycle (e.g. analyzing requirements, crafting test scenarios, executing tests, reporting bugs and recommending product improvements/enhancements) Ensure the quality of deliverables for desktop, web, or mobile solutions by defining test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and developing automation frameworks that covers functional, integration, system, performance, and regression aspects in alignment with customer requirements. Support the design, development, and deployment of software components, covering functional, and non-functional aspects like security, performance, robustness, etc. Continuously learn appropriate proven experience, technologies, skills and tools needed for process improvements spanning multiple product domains Collaborate effectively with marketing, product owners, architects, and UX designers from requirements analysis, design, implementation, reviews, up to delivering project requirements in a multi-national, multi-cultural organization.

For this Role You Will Need:
Graduate of a BS Engineering course (ChE, EE, ECE, ME, Comp Sci, Comp Eng, ICE or equivalent degree) or an MS Engineering graduate With at least 2 years of relevant process control, instrumentation, and automation proven experience Knowledge or experience in configuring or operating DCS, PLC or SCADA. Familiarity with operations in any of the following process industries: hydrocarbon processing, oil and gas, pulp and paper, specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical, food and beverage or power generation. Experienced in planning and leading instrumentation or process control projects or teams. Able to communicate effectively in local and international settings
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Experience in customer interactions through project requirements gathering, configuration and commissioning, onsite troubleshooting, or FAT/SAT activities. Knowledge in Windows operating systems and computer networking. Familiar with programming languages for configuration or software development projects
