This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Maintain quality testing standards and procedures
Conducting both manual and automated tests of software and hardware products
Reviewing software requirements and preparing Test Cases, Plans and Scenarios
Analyzing test results for proper functionality of systems under test, determine if there are errors or bugs, and helping to ensure usability
Preparing reports on results related to the software testing carried out
Liaising effectively with Development, Business Analysts, and Upper Management
Applying quality engineering principles throughout the agile product lifecycle
Designing and developing automation scripts based on requirements
Due to the nature of work, you MUST be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Understanding of the full SLDC lifecycle
A strong understanding of Web-based applications
Strong understanding of different types of Manual and Automated Testing methodologies (unit, system integration, regression, compatibility & performance etc.) and an ability to plan and execute accordingly
Experience working with defect tracking tools
Ability to identify, define, and document business requirements (functional and system)
Ability to participate in requirements analysis, validation and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with team members, customers and support personnel
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience in Agile methodologies
Ability to work independently with minimal direction
Experience creating Test Cases, Test Suites and User Scenarios
Experience with Test Automation and Automation Frameworks
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools
Experience supporting customers in UAT testing
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $154,300.00.
