Position Overview

The Software Testing Engineering Intern position is a quality assurance role. You will help improve the quality of software releases through automation processes and tools improvements. This is an opportunity to work with software developers, technical support staff, and customers to create customized testing methodologies for our software tools. Some of the main responsibilities of this position include: 

Executing both automated and manual test cases and recording results

Reviewing design documents to check new features and design quality

Creating test plans and manual and automated test cases

Working closely with software developers and software quality engineers to resolve issues

Recommended Skills & Experience

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field, preferably summer of junior year  

Ability to read and understand code used in a typical automation frameworks

Understanding of relational databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and writing and optimizing SQL queries

Basic troubleshooting and debugging skills 

Strong verbal and written communication as well as established team working skills   

Primary locations include Oregon, Washington State, and Colorado; positions are all hybrid work models.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
