Job Duties:

 

ü  Working and training knowledge in SQL Server, SQL Integration Services, SQL Services Reporting Services, Technologies

ü  Industry certifications in the relevant area of expertise is preferred, but not required

ü  Excellent knowledge, including implementation / deployment / development in respective product areas is a plus

ü  Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts in a simple manner

ü  Experience teaching and/or consulting in a corporate setting to corporate end-users

ü  Knowledge IBM Datastage

ü  Deliver quality Online or classroom instructions as necessary

ü  Plan for emerging technologies and prepare for new classes on on-going basis in coordination with management

ü  Provide superb customer service to every client by maintaining a "whatever it takes" attitude

ü  Assist with on-going projects as requested

ü  Desire to excel in training and consulting

ü  Continued interest in keeping current with latest industry trends 

ü  Ability to teach standard classes as well as accelerated, certificate preparation boot camp classes 

ü  Planning, designing, developing  and testing software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products

ü  Analyzing, programming, and modifying software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs

ü  Developing a range of products including device drivers, patches, operating system modifications, graphics modules, etc.

ü  Using current programming languages and technologies, writing the code, developing programs,  and performing testing and debugging of applications

ü  Plan and direct studies of potential electronic data processing applications

ü  Develop and install programs to support general business applications running on PCs

ü  Help in Designing web pages, including graphics, animation, and functionality; develop infrastructure and applications related to pages

ü  Making hardware or software purchasing recommendations regarding web development
and all other duties as assigned. 

ü  Design and Create Mock-Ups

ü  Reengineering, Development and implementation of Access database functionality related to Financial Operations into IT support systems

ü  Work with Client’s technical staff, including network engineers and database administrators, to analyze and improve system performance.

ü  Develop and/or update technical design based upon requirements specifications.

ü  Develop and/or fix software applications, using the tools that fulfill the requirements specifications and conform to the technical design.

ü  Correct issues found during system and user acceptance testing.

ü  Create other technical documentation, including user and administrator guides and configuration management plans.

ü  SDLC development lifecycle/ deployment experience with demonstrated successful projects

ü  Strong understanding of RDBMS Concepts, MS SQL Server

ü  Experience with T-SQL and ETL Packages

ü  Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Technical Documentation Skills

 

Language Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication Skills.

 

Education and Experience: A Bachelor's Degree or Higher in a Computer Related Field or Foreign Equivalent required.

 

Technical Skills: IBM Info Sphere Data Stage 8.x, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

MS SQL Server 2012/2008R2/2005, Oracle 11g/10g, DB2, MySQL, MS Access

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports
