Applied Materials impacts everybody's lives: we take part in practically every chip manufactured in the world! In Applied Materials Israel, we develop high-end systems for the world's most advanced chip manufacturing, using cutting-edge technology and smart multidisciplinary solutions. **What's in it for you?** + A key player in the development phases to optimize suggested design alternatives. + Close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team such as Product, SW architects, SW developers, Automation developers, system and field support + Diverse career growth opportunities. **What will you be doing?** + Lead the SW validation and holistic testing of complex systems, including advanced algorithms and software which collaborating with a mix of state-of-the-art optics, scanning electron microscopes, lasers and motion systems + Collaborate closely with product managers, field engineers and architects to develop a prioritized test plan that addresses technological challenges while meeting the precise needs of our customers. + Perform testing and troubleshooting in various complexity levels, and operate multidisciplinary systems + Work with automation developers and qualification teams to create and implement the appropriate test plan, and troubleshoot complex issues as they arise. + Review spec requirements to ensure clarity for the development team and influence the team for effective development and coverage planning. **What you should have:** + B.Sc/M.Sc in Engineering, with 5+ years of multidisciplinary systems R&D. + Strong analytical skills and self-learning. + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Excellent collaboration capabilities, with different disciplines and the ability to work independently. + FAB work experience - Advantage. + Leadership skills. + Strong English oral and written communication skills, presenting skills. **Additional Information** **Time Type:** Full time **Employee Type:** Assignee / Regular **Travel:** Yes, 10% of the Time **Relocation Eligible:** No Applied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
