Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesFor our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) division, which is the world's leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for the Greifensee location, METTLER TOLEDO's global operational headquarters, for an enthusiastic Software Verification Engineer 80% – 100% (all genders) to join our R&D organization.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:You develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testingYou collaborate with development teams to understand application features and design effective testing strategiesYou implement and manage test automation frameworks and toolsYou execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvementYou ensure comprehensive test coverage and documentationYou participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testability and qualityYou stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in test automation and software testingWhat You Need to SucceedFollowing requirements are necessary for this role: You have a higher degree in computer science or electrical engineering (Uni/ETH, FH) or comparableYou have least 3 years of professional experience software testing and software engineering, ideally in an industrial high-tech or within a product development environmentYou have a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) ,testing methodologies and software design patternsYou possess experience with test automation tools and frameworksYou demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsYou have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively in a team environmentYou are proficient in C#You speak English (knowledge of German is an advantage) and are motivated to work in an international environmentOur Offer to YouWe offer:Flexible working hours (depending on the role), a hybrid work model, and a wide portfolio of training opportunitiesA 40-hour work week with at least 25 vacation days per year, plus 4 to 7 additional days off between bank holidaysFree parking and direct access to public transportHealthy lunches cooked onsite at our own METTLER TOLEDO restaurant, with special prices for employees A range of additional attractive benefits, including employee discounts at select area businessesYou can expect challenging, interesting, and varied tasks in an innovative and international environment, with the opportunity to network globally and achieve your career goals.
