The role serves as the vital link between the company, utility providers, and regulatory bodies, ensuring all solar installations meet necessary requirements and receive timely approvals for operation. This position directly impacts project timelines and customer satisfaction by facilitating efficient permit processing and utility connections.

The Impact you’ll makeUtility Interconnection Management \nSubmit and track interconnection applications with major California utilities - Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE), Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PGE), and Southern California Edison (SCE)\nCoordinate with utility representatives to resolve application issues\nSecure Permission to Operate (PTO) approvals efficiently\nHandle both solar and battery storage interconnection requirements\nCompliance & Documentation \nEnsure all applications meet California regulatory requirements\nMaintain accurate records of permit submissions and approvals\nStay current with utility interconnection policies and regulation changes\nMaster both solar and battery storage compliance requirements\nProcess Optimization \nTrack application statuses and identify potential delays\nDevelop solutions for expediting approval timelines\nImplement best practices for application submissions\nCreate efficient workflows for combined solar and battery applications\nCommunication & Reporting \nProvide daily progress updates to management\nLiaise with internal teams on project statuses\nMaintain clear communication channels with utility representatives\nReport on both solar and battery storage application progress\n

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequired:\nProven experience with California solar interconnection application\nDirect experience working with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), San Diego Gas & Electric (SDGE), Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PGE), and Southern California Edison (SCE).
