**Job Title: Solder Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Solder Technician, you will be responsible for soldering units of PCB and power supplies, including rework if needed. You will read work sheets, receive verbal instructions, or follow sample boards to determine assembly duties and select components such as transistors, resistors, relays, capacitors, and integrated circuits.
**Responsibilities**
+ Twist, bend, trim, strip, or file wire leads of components or ream holes in boards to insert wire leads.
+ Insert color-coded wires in designated holes and clinch wire ends.
+ Press-fit (mount) component leads into boards.
+ Place plastic isolating sleeves around specified wire leads of components and shrink sleeves into place.
+ Crimp wire leads on the underside of the board.
+ Apply sealer or masking compound to selected parts of boards.
**Essential Skills**
+ Soldering
+ PCB assembly
+ Knowledge of IPC-610 standards
+ Thru-hole and SMT soldering
+ Point-to-point soldering
+ Assembly of electronic components
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newbury Park
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
