Faststream are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sole Engineer to join our team on a contract-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on tugs or multicats and will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's machinery and systems.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the operation and maintenance of all engineering systems on the tug. Ensure the vessel complies with all safety and environmental regulations. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the vessel's machinery is in optimal condition. Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical issues that arise. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with the crew to ensure smooth and efficient vessel operations. Requirements:
Proven experience working on tugs or multicats. MUST HAVE UK RIGHT TO WORK Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) for EOOW or Chief Engineer. Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and maintenance practices. Benefits:
