Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Solicitor to join our marine legal team, with a focus on P&I and FD&D matters. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills while working towards progressing to a senior solicitor position. You will work on a variety of marine cases, delivering high-quality legal advice and supporting the firm’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide focused legal advice and draft necessary documents. Manage case research, analysis, and prosecution within SRA guidelines. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. Build productive relationships with clients and internal teams. Support case management, including pricing, billing, and time recording. Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure case effectiveness. Handle client queries with commercial awareness and strong customer service. Ensure compliance with internal and SRA regulations.
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor with a background in marine law. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to develop client relationships and demonstrate commercial awareness. Self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of working autonomously. Eager to embrace change and learn in a dynamic environment.
