Position Summary:

The Solid Wood Product Specialist is responsible to provide sales and technical assistance and support for our Solid Wood product line for the regional sales team. This position will work to increase market penetration and provide technical documentation for the Solid Wood product line.
Essential Functions:
Understand customer’s product along with their current and future needs to provide sales and technical assistance to the sales force in regards to Solid Wood machinery knowledge Recommend product solutions, build proposals, prepare supporting material and develop presentations Coordinate order progress between customers and field sales engineers to assist with closing the sale Plan an efficient short and long-term schedule to travel with sales team Assist in sales process with field Sales Engineers and distributors to close sales in an expedient manner When required, provide customer post installation and manufacturing process assistance Provide pre and post-sale software integration guidance and assistance, especially when third party software is involved Document important technical information regarding the software sale and integration commitments Prepare cycle time simulations and fixture recommendations Update salesforce and Product Manager on competition, including product offerings, pricing and competitive features Develop sales tools including videos, promotional materials, samples, case studies and target market material Assist and monitor lost order reports, analysis trends and work with Regional Director to develop proactive action plans Provide Solid Wood product training to Sales Engineers and distributors through planned training sessions and field work Develop technical documentation for Solid Wood products Provide technical expertise and support for corporate demonstrations
