Northrop Grumman Space PMO is seeking a Mid-Career or Senior level (level 3 or level 4) Software Development Analyst. This position will be primarily work from home. This could change depending upon business conditions.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Analyze, enhance, install, test, and modify enterprise-wide software systemsDevelop requirements, workflow, and perform systems analysisCorrect program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilitiesEstablish standards for the development and maintenance of new and existing productsCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders, meet with team members and users to develop solutionsProvide real time gathering of inputs from the manufacturing work centers, document and track each item to closure within the requirements of change control processSupport Solumina G-Series (G8) to iSeries transition, including defining business processes and new software capability, implement and manage integration API elements using software configuration management practicesThis role is typically designed for software development with a minor amount of system administration or data analytic responsibilitiesResponsible to prioritize work, perform work independently and within a team. Ability to receive guidance from senior technical teammatesRepresent the organization to other business groups, provide sound technical understanding and commit to performance within the margins of the system capabilitiesBasic Qualifications for a level 3:
Must have a Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics or STEM equivalent with 5 Years of relevant experience OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters Degree.Must have experience with Solumina Applications or a similar MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) application.Must be able to analyze and validate the performance and validity of interfaces and supporting system software to specified system requirementsExperience providing technical solutions consistent with organizational objectives and business processesMust be able to share a rotating schedule for ‘on call’ support over nights, weekends, and holidays with other team membersKnowledge of software verification processes and techniques, test reporting, regression testing, and test data analysisExperience with Relational databases (Oracle, SQLServer) including packages, procedures and functionsWeb Server administration (Apache)System integration experienceNetwork Protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/FTPS, TCP/IP)Strong problem-solving skills; Strong communication skillsBasic Qualifications for a level 4:

Experience with Database queries and Data mining using an intermediate level SQLKnowledge of programming (e.g. Python or JAVA) and Kubernetes frameworkUnderstanding of software INI, UDV, SQL libraries and familiarity with version control systems like Git/BitbucketExperience with ERP systems preferably Deltek CostpointBasic understanding of configuration management, process flow and general manufacturing processing standardsFamiliar with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and best practices in server managementDemonstrated experience as a Web application developer is preferred.Proven experience with Full stack Java development (Java, JUnit, Java EE, Swing)Experienced with JaxWs, Restful services experienceExperience with HTML, HTML 5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSONExperience with frameworks such as React or AngularExperience with modern IDE tools and testing mechanisms (e.g. Eclipse, VsCode)Salary Range: $97,500.00 - $146,300.00Salary Range 2: $121,000.00 - $181,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
