Solution Analyst II
What You'll Do We’re looking for a Solution Analyst II to join our Technology Operations Center [TOC] team. In this role, you’ll assist informally leading the weekend shift, ensuring the team is monitoring and supporting our infrastructure (network and mainframe) via software tools to meet business partners' goals. This team provides timely support and assistance of problem determination by quickly identifying, analyzing, and reporting on all relevant issues. You’ll have the opportunity to: Assist in ensuring daily operational work is handled in a timely and accurate manner. Provide feedback or ideas for success, as needed Thorough investigation, documentation of issues, fix, collaboration with partners and all team members and leadership; appropriate documentation and critical issue, as needed Be proficient in all forms of communication and keep tickets/tools/chats current and accurate Follow through on outstanding and ongoing issues to help maintain a level of ‘ownership’ and quality of tickets/issues within TOC Assist in driving strategic initiatives Drive continuous improvement to improve service aligned to strategy Collect, organize, analyze, and interpret data in multiple areas of expertise Be a technical liaison between TOC and engineering teams in optimizing user experience for the tools used by the TOC Be an Incident Coordinator[Major Incident Manager], using ITSM methodologies Model positive responses to change and work with team members to encourage this mentality Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Who You Are Associates or Bachelors degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) 1+ years of technical experience Advanced computer skills required Advanced planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills required May be required to provide on-call support Will be required to work some holidays Keys to success in this position: Analytical, time management, adaptability and develop knowledge to be able to problem solve in the gray Build relationships and communicate and collaborate with all, while providing a productive and good experience to those encountered Offer ideas on elimination, improvements, efficiencies, automation, change, risk reduction and increased success in work processes Must be a quick learner, develop understanding of Cloud Technology and understand the technology and overall impact and implications of actions taken Skills That Will Help You Stand Out: Recent Mainframe experience preferred Experience as an informal leader preferred Previous experience working overnight shifts (see hours below) Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $67500 - $121200 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible Yes Additional Information Hours The working hours for this role will be 3:45 pm to 12:15 am CST, Wednesday through Sunday Work Environments This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least two office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC).
