As the Solution Architect, IT Transformation you will design, build, and test Stryker’s Field Inventory Management platform - Event & Inventory Management (EIM). You will deliver the end-to-end solution critical to Stryker’s success through technical documentation, configuration, and/or development within applications, and play a key role in transitioning knowledge of new and enhanced capabilities to the service delivery team.
*Hybrid role requiring 1-2 days in office per week*

What you will do
Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes including development of system and technical documentation.Responsible for the design and implementation of an Event & Field Inventory Management solution to support Stryker’s global field inventory needs. Solution capabilities within Stryker’s EIM platform focused around but not limited to Surgical & Marketing Events, Event Inventory Requests, Event Usage Capture, & Cycle Counts.Technical Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within a Shared Service Platform/application stack.Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance and technical efficiencies.Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processesRecommend approaches to optimize/tune systems performance.Work with other IS teams along with business teams to deliver business solutionsPartner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stackLead and mentor Solution Analysts within the team and provide oversight and guidance.What you need
Bachelor's Degree in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.8+ years of relevant experience required.3+ years of experience leading project team resources required.Experience designing and building custom mobile applications required.Experience with React Native & JS is preferred.Experience deploying custom SFDC(Salesforce.com) solutions leveraging Heroku is preferred.Azure DevOps (ADO) experience preferred.Experience in database query design is preferred.Experience and knowledge of global system rollouts – strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning preferred.Knowledge of and ability to drive IS methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred.Travel Percentage: 30%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
