To be successful as a Solution Architect at Barclays, you should have experience in:
• The design and development of solutions as products that can evolve, meeting business requirements that align with modern software engineering practices and automated delivery tooling. This includes identification and implementation of the technologies and platforms.
• Designing solution using APIs, Microservices, ETL processes, workflow management tools along with designing database schemas following standard architecture principles.
• Development of the requisite architecture inputs required to comply with the governance processes, including design artefacts required for architecture, privacy, security and record management governance processes.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Ability to analyse complex set of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc.) to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Lead technical workshops, guide development teams, and ensure the overall quality and scalability of the implementations.
• Industry experience in Financial Services and ideally Banking (Business/Corporate preferred to Retail)
