Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design – Design end to end solutions that align with business goals and integrate with existing systems. Develop architectural blueprints, detailed technical specifications and diagrams.Stakeholder Management - Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and developers to gather requirements and understand business objectives. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Risk Management – Identifies risks or issues with technology solution and design which may impact realization of project benefits and provides guidance and support to stakeholders in making good decisions to pro-actively resolve or mitigate potential risks/delays to the project. Ensure compliance to the established quality standards and governance.Quality Assurance - Ensuring the quality and consistency of architecture artefacts across the embedded architecture domains (e.g. system flows, data flows, conceptual designs, and application/information models)Technology Evaluation - Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms to ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and cost-effective. Identifies and researches relevant technologies, performs proof of concepts/prototypes, and recommends applications of such technologies to future product architectures.Documentation - Maintain comprehensive documentation of the solution architecture, design decisions, and any modifications made during the project lifecycle.Problem Solving – Address and resolve technical issues that arise during development. Optimize performance, security and scalability of the solutionProject Assessment – Providing architectural direction and communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.

Requirements to hire:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, (or related) or the equivalent in work experienceAmenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)Finance knowledge to assess impact of applied technology on insurance/banking business processesExpert knowledge of computer or network systems hardware and software theory, practice, concepts and technology relevant to organizational visionProven experience in architecting and designing mission critical systemsDemonstrates expert knowledge of design and analysis methodology and application development processesPossesses a deep understanding and problem solving ability of Information Technology of various scale, degree and dimension of complexityPrior experience with digital transformation of legacy applicationsProficient in the techniques that go into producing designs of complex systems, including requirements discovery and analysis, formulation of solution context, identification of solution alternatives and their assessment, technology selection, and design configurationAmenable to work on a shifting schedule.
