About the Job
The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient, scalable, and secure IT solutions that align with Allianz's business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural principles, enterprise systems, and the insurance industry to support the development and integration of innovative solutions.
What you do
Solution Design and Development: Develop and implement IT architecture strategies that support Allianz's business goals. Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools to enhance the IT infrastructure. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and present architectural solutions. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams. Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation. Project Management: Lead the architectural aspects of major IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Manage project risks and issues, providing solutions to mitigate them. Compliance and Security: Ensure all solutions comply with Allianz's security policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
What you bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, preferably in the insurance industry. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. Proficiency in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with microservices architecture, API management, and integration technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
