Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, data center management, and risk governance. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in large-scale projects, who can provide technical leadership, manage risks, and ensure the successful delivery of the project within aggressive timelines. Rate: $70 - $90 / hr. w2 **Responsibilities:** 1. **Strategy and Planning:** + Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for migration efforts into a cloud based environment + Collaborate with the program manager and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables. + Identify and mitigate risks associated with the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. 1. **Solution Architecture:** + Design and implement the overall solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. + Provide subject matter expertise on infrastructure, applications, and required data migration. + Ensure the architecture supports scalability, reliability, and security 1. **Risk and Governance:** + Establish and enforce governance frameworks to manage risks, compliance, and quality + Work with the program manager to define risk mitigation strategies and implement guardrails to address potential issues. + Monitor and report on risk factors, ensuring timely communication to stakeholders. 1. **Stakeholder Management:** + Act as a primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans. + Manage expectations and ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders. + Facilitate decision-making processes to keep the project on track. 1. **Team Leadership:** + Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams involved in project + Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and migration. + Mentor team members and foster a collaborative work environment. 1. **Timeline and Delivery Management:** + Work with the program manager to define and manage aggressive project timelines. + Ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget, without compromising quality. + Address and resolve any roadblocks that may impact the project timeline. 1. **Hybrid Cloud Expertise:** + Leverage knowledge of Hybrid Cloud solutions to optimize infrastructure management **Experience Requirements:** **Qualifications:** + **Education** : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. + **Experience** : + 10+ years of experience in infrastructure management and solution architecture. + Strong understanding of risk and governance frameworks for infrastructure management + Experience with hybrid cloud environments and modern infrastructure solutions + **Skills** : + Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable solution architectures. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex technical challenges. + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. + Ability to work under pressure and manage aggressive timelines. + **Certifications** : + Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect are preferred. _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
