**The Opportunity** This role is responsible for the application architecture and software engineering technical leadership during project delivery and ongoing maintenance of PH Line-Of-Business applications. To be successful in the role, the candidate will possess not only deep expertise in their particular field, but also superior relationship management, coaching and mentoring skills. **Responsibilities** + Provide application architecture direction, engineering leadership, consultancy and support to the business operations and project teams in the delivery of the local projects. + Ensure the robustness/flexibility of the design to enable the effective delivery of the solution across in a cost/time optimized manner utilizing repeatable technical playbooks and sound engineering design. + Drives effective management of resources to drive resolution of identified project issues and risks, and gains internal / external buy-in so that risks and issues are effectively mitigated within desired tolerance levels. + Ensure logical and physical architecture for a project aligns with the standards and reference architectures defined by the Technical Domain and Enterprise Architects. + Ensures that risks are appropriately identified, prioritized and mitigated to levels acceptable for management + Enhance and accelerate projects + Provide leadership founded on strong and deep technical experience. + Coach, mentor and support system development teams in implementing reference architectures and standards + Develop and foster relationships with the divisional and business unit subject matter experts + Communicates the solution architectures to project management and development teams through deliverables, presentations, training and other appropriate means and forums. + Works with Technical Domain and Enterprise architect to develop comprehensive solution architecture + Articulate the comprehensive solution architectures to the Enterprise Architecture governance body for implementation approval at key phases of the solution delivery lifecycle. + Actively participates in appropriate Enterprise Architecture governance bodies + Ensures project compliance with the approved technology roadmap and associated blueprints, standards, and techniques + Creates phased implementation architectures that deliver on the future state according to business priorities + Identifies architectural issues and risks and, if necessary, escalate them in a timely manner + Assists in the development of technical design and physical architectures, emphasizing reuse and integration opportunities + Collaborates effectively with distributed IS teams in Asia and leverages solutions from other markets if applicable. **How will you create impact?** The role will report to the Lead Solutions Architect. **What motivates you?** + You obsess about customers, listen, engage and act for their benefit. + You think big, with curiosity to discover ways to use your agile approach and enable business outcomes. + You thrive in teams and enjoy getting things done together. + You take ownership and build solutions, focusing on what matters. + You do what is right, work with integrity and speak up. + You share your humanity, helping us build a diverse and inclusive work environment for everyone. **What we are looking for** + Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience + At least more than five (5) years of work experience in Solution Architecture, application development, design & integration, project delivery & software development life cycle, e-business, digital and partner integration programs. + Strong working knowledge on Microservices Architecture, java/spring boot, front-end technologies (preferably Angular 2+), APIGEE, Azure APIM or similar API Management tool, cloud technologies ((IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Azure Kubernetes Service, Pivotal Cloud Foundry or similar application container services, restful API standards and naming convention, and enterprise application design patterns and best practices + Knowledgeable in event driven architecture and message broker services – Rabbit MQ, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub or similar services, 12 Factor App methodology, and secure software development practices + Extensive knowledge of application architecture and digital: concepts, practices and tools + Extensive knowledge of digital, emerging and disruptive technology applications + Broad exposure to different technologies and software development methodologies + Ability to engage with and influence Business Representatives of all levels + Experience in the design and development of enterprise-wide systems + Good coaching/mentoring skills + Ability to challenge constructively on requirements or assumptions whilst maintaining positive and professional relationships + Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion + Good verbal and written communication;
