Responsibilities:
Junior-level:

Assists in designing and adapting technology architectures for various projects

Tests software integration within architectural designs to ensure functionality

Helps align technology solutions with business objectives

Provides technical leadership and support to project teams

Documents architectural decisions and contribute to technical documentation

Assists in identifying and mitigating project risks

Contributes to optimizing performance, maintaining security, and ensuring compliance

Supports the estimation of project costs and resource requirements

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation

Learns and applies best practices in solution architecture and design patterns

Intermediate:

Designs and adapts technology architectures to meet business requirements and technical specifications

Tests and ensures software integration within architectural designs for optimal functionality

Aligns technology solutions with business objectives, bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation

Provides technical leadership and guidance to development teams and stakeholders

Documents architectural decisions, patterns, and best practices

Identifies and mitigates project risks related to solution architecture

Optimizes system performance, scalability, and efficiency

Maintains security and compliance standards within architectural designs

Estimates project costs and resource requirements for proposed solutions

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions

Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation

Senior:

Designs and adapts complex technology architectures to meet organizational needs

Tests and ensures software integration within architectural designs for optimal functionality

Aligns technology solutions with business objectives, bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation

Provides technical leadership across multiple projects and teams

Documents architectural decisions and maintain comprehensive solution documentation

Identifies and mitigates project risks related to solution architecture

Optimizes solution performance, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations

Estimates project costs and resource requirements for proposed solutions

Delivers scalable, efficient solutions that drive organizational success

Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels to ensure solution alignment with business goals

Mentors junior architects and contribute to the professional development of the IT team

Subject Matter Expert/SME:

Designs and adapts advanced technology architectures to meet complex business requirements

Leads software integration testing within architectural designs to ensure optimal functionality

Aligns technology solutions with strategic business objectives, providing expert technical leadership

Documents architectural decisions and maintain comprehensive solution blueprints

Identifies and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful implementation of solutions

Optimizes system performance, maintain security standards, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Estimates project costs and resource requirements for large-scale technology initiatives

Bridges the gap between business needs and technical implementation, facilitating clear communication between stakeholders

Develops and implements scalable, efficient solutions that drive organizational success

Mentors and guides senior technical team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence


Qualifications:
Required: 
Junior:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

0-3 years of experience in software development, systems integration, or related IT role (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain security clearance, if necessary.

Basic understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns

Familiarity with various technology stacks and platforms

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Intermediate:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field

3-8 years of progressive experience in solution architecture or related roles (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain security clearance, if necessary.

Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices

Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies

Solid understanding of network architectures and security principles

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and presentation abilities

Ability to balance technical requirements with business needs

Senior:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)

8-11 years of progressive experience in solution architecture or related roles (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain security clearance, if necessary.

Proven track record of designing and implementing complex technology solutions

Strong knowledge of various architectural patterns and frameworks

Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Outstanding communication and presentation abilities

Strong leadership and project management skills

SME:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field

12+ years of extensive experience in solution architecture and technology leadership roles (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain security clearance, if necessary.

Expert knowledge of various architectural styles and design patterns

Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, complex technology solutions

Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies

Expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including C-level executives


Desired:

Junior:

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$74,600-$156,700
