Solution Architect - ERP

LOCATION: Austin, TX OR San Carlos, CA OR Remote, USA.

Position Overview:

Natera is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect specializing in Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, primarily focusing on Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules and expertise in Finance modules within the healthcare provider domain. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, Business Systems Analysts (BSAs), and technical teams to ensure the delivery of scalable, efficient, and integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:

- Lead the design of comprehensive solutions within Oracle Fusion Cloud, emphasizing Supply Chain Management modules (e.g., Product Data Management, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Planning) + Finance modules (Fixed Assets, Collections, General Ledger, Payables, and Receivables).

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and high-level designs.

 

Cross-Functional Leadership:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, BSAs, and technical teams to define priorities and deliverables.

- Guide BSAs in requirement gathering, gap analysis, and functional design.

- Coordinate with technical teams on integrations, extensions, and data migration efforts.

 

Technical Oversight:

- Ensure alignment with Oracle's best practices and architectural principles.

- Oversee the development of reports, interfaces, customizations, and extensions (RICE-W components).

- Guide and review technical implementations, including APIs, workflows, and third-party system integrations.

 

System Optimization and Scalability:

- Evaluate existing Oracle Fusion Cloud configurations and recommend enhancements to improve performance and scalability.

- Ensure solutions support long-term business goals and compliance requirements.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as the primary liaison between IT and business teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of solution designs.

- Present architectural recommendations to leadership and gain approval for proposed solutions.

 

Project Delivery and Governance:

- Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including solution diagrams, data models, and functional/technical specifications.

- Participate in project planning, risk assessments, and status reviews.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

- Oracle Fusion Cloud Expertise: 

  - In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management modules, including Product Data Management, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, and Planning.

  - Strong experience with Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Receivable.

  - Hands-on experience with Oracle’s reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI, FRS).

 

- Integration and Customization: 

  - Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, and web services.

  - Familiarity with data migration tools and processes in Oracle Fusion.

  - Knowledge of RICE-W components and the ADF framework.

 

Cross-Functional Process Knowledge:

- Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Inventory Management processes.

 

Technical Leadership:

- Ability to guide development teams on best practices for Oracle Fusion customizations and extensions.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex configurations and integrations.

 

Soft Skills:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while managing multiple priorities.

- An analytical mindset with a focus on scalable and efficient solutions.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

- Oracle certifications in SCM or Financials.

- Experience with agile project methodologies.

- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR).

- Background in healthcare, manufacturing, or related industries.

 

Preferred Experience:

- 12+ years of experience in Oracle ERP implementations, with at least 3+ years working with Oracle Fusion Cloud.

- Proven track record in architecting and delivering SCM and finance-focused solutions.

- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and mentoring BSAs and technical staff.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
