Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Solution Architect/Java Developer, where you'll design, build, and support the cutting-edge software that sets our payment gateway apart from the competition. As part of a collaborative and forward-thinking group, you'll dive deep into Payment Card Industry features, standards, and specifications, helping us deliver secure, world-class payment processing solutions. If you're passionate about staying ahead of evolving security challenges and creating technology that makes a real impact, this is the role for you!
What you will do:
Build, test, and support software that makes our payment gateway stand out from the competition.Dive deep into Payment Card Industry standards and continuously learn how to apply them to enhance our gateway’s capabilities.Certify integrations with various payment processors, ensuring compliance with standards like PCI, ISO 8583, and others.Put security first in every line of code you write to ensure a dependable and secure solution.Spot and tackle critical web application security vulnerabilities to protect user data and maintain compliance.Work closely with teams across the company to create innovative payment solutions that make a difference.Stay ahead of the curve by exploring industry trends and bringing fresh ideas to the table.What you will need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and military service.10+ years of experience developing and testing software using Java.Hands-on experience with web services and RESTful API development.Strong understanding of critical web application security vulnerabilities.Proficiency in working with Linux operating systems.Expertise in data layer design and query optimization, including MySQL and JPA.Proven experience in the payments industry and familiarity with industry standards.What would be great to have:
Experience with 3rd party integrations to enhance system functionality.Hands-on experience with direct to processor payment certifications, using protocols such as ISO 8583.Familiarity with Spring Boot for building scalable and robust applications.Proficiency in Java 14 or above for modern software development.Strong troubleshooting skills in a production support environment.Important info about this role:
