**SOLUTION CENTER SUPPORT SPECIALIST – CORPORATE OFFICE, AUSTIN, MN**

The work schedule for this position has some flexibility within the business hours of 6:30am-5pm Monday-Friday. The schedule may also vary at times based on business needs.
Relocation is not eligible for this role.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
This position will be the first point of contact in the Horizon Solution Center for all inquiries which includes answering the incoming calls to the customer service 800 number. This position is an HR generalist role covering multiple areas including benefits, careers, compensation, employee information, HR systems & reporting, leaves, payroll, performance, learning and talent development, retirement, and safety/Workers’ Compensation.
The person in this position:
+ Creates Oracle Service Requests (SRs) for all calls received and also reviews SRs submitted via email or through Oracle. Professionally respond to SRs from current and former team members, Hormel Foods managers, third party administrators and other benefit providers by providing guidance and interpretation of related items.
+ Performs transactions, duties, and tasks for Solution Center/HR business areas such as completing medical verifications and court orders, file uploads, and audits.
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
Required
+ Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
+ Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple tasks at once.
+ Demonstrates strong customer service skills.
+ Software proficiency in the Windows environment includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Teams.
+ Ability to initiate appropriate action independently as well as exercise maturity in judgment.
+ Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality of information.
Preferred
+ Fluent in Spanish and English for speaking, reading, and writing. Successful bilingual candidate may be eligible for premium pay.
+ Experience working with Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, or in a Help Desk function.

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $18.36 - $25.73 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
