Solution consultant

As a Solution Consultant within the Solution Consulting team, you will leverage your expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions and support to clients. Your role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring successful project outcomes and client satisfaction covering the following:

Present and explain FNZ's existing capabilities to clients, ensuring they understand the value and functionality of the software.

Collaborate with clients to agree on Joint Target Operating Models.

Design integration solutions that seamlessly connect FNZ's platform with client systems.

Provide consultancy services to support business transformation initiatives, helping clients optimize their operations.

Offer advice on platform compliance with relevant regulations, ensuring clients meet all necessary standards.

Develop and deliver training programs to enhance client understanding and utilization of FNZ's platform.

Configure and deliver software solutions based on FNZ's methodology, ensuring they meet client requirements.

On top of the above the Solution Consultant role also performs and assists with:

Assist Project Managers in managing clients throughout the delivery cycle, ensuring projects stay on track and meet deadlines.

Support the estimation and scheduling of software deliveries, ensuring realistic timelines and resource allocation.

Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process.

              

Team Responsibilities

The Solution Consulting team is responsible for providing a range of high value services to FNZ’s existing and potential customers.

This includes being responsible for the Platform configuration and running the FNZ Model Wealth Solution configuration process for new platform implementations, plus supporting sales team in winning & sizing new projects.

It also involves carrying out a variety of consulting assignments for existing customers and new customers in a variety of contexts, including proposition definition, TOM definition, Business transformation, customer training and knowledge transfer, and the definition of bespoke requirements where required for customer platform solutions.  

Once business outcomes are understood from FNZ clients, these must be accurately documented and fed them into the delivery process to ensure they are easily understood and precise to deliver the right outcome for our clients.

Specific Role Responsibilities

Understand and advise on the Platform Target Operating Model, including interfaces between platform and customer operations.

Manage the MWS Configuration process for new platform implementations, capturing all customer configuration points.

Guide FNZ client propositions to deliver market-leading platform changes.

Define and break down scope items into core and optional elements for phased delivery.

Document and translate bespoke customer requirements into platform solutions.

Provide consultancy services to other FNZ clients and projects as needed.

Support the Solution Consulting team, fostering continuous improvement and capability development.

Work with FNZ customers and internal stakeholders to define proposition and product requirements, applying market expertise and FNZ platform functionality.

Experience required

Required Industry Knowledge

Expertise in payments, financial messages, financial markets/treasury, accounting, and regulatory reporting.

Experience in consulting, analysis, and application implementation on the client side, with a good understanding of architecture and environment.

Experience in private banking, wealth management, and general investment products.

Understanding of the regulatory environment and upcoming changes.

5+ years of experience in a delivery/consulting environment within the financial services/wealth management market.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Proven experience in business analysis, consulting, and software implementation within banks.

Ability to configure banking applications independently, ensuring seamless functionality and efficiency.

Good analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.

Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and across multiple regions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French and German is a plus).

Strong time management, organizational, and documentation skills.

Willingness to travel across regions as required
