Solution Consultant Job Responsibilities: -
✓ Customer Communication:
• Ensure clear and accurate communication with customers.
• Maintain regular follow-up to obtain necessary documentations for the team.
• Oversee the SOW throughout the project lifecycle to ensure timely achievement of all
contracted deliverables.
• Define and validate applicable requirements, deliverables, and success measures within
the project scope.
• Identify and manage risks, particularly in case of customer-related delays.
• Provide necessary information to individual team members.
• Keep a vigilant eye on project issues to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
expectations.
• Actively participate in team project planning and road mapping, offering support during
year-end activities.
✓ Project Lifecycle Coordination:
• Coordinate and execute the lifecycle of assigned projects in alignment with UKG's
methodology.
• Work with individual members to provide support on all phases, such as Analysis, System
Configuration, Parallel Testing, Live Processing, and Support Transition.
✓ Issue Tracking and Resolution:
• Track, manage, and oversee the resolution of open project issues and items.
✓ Proactive Customer Communication:
• Proactively communicate with customers to keep them informed of project status.
• Ensure customers are on track with assigned responsibilities.
✓ Timely Follow-up:
• Provide timely follow-up and resolution of open project-related items.
✓ Preferred Skills:
• Experience within US payroll processing or other HR shared services industry that handles
US clients preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of US or UK customer experience.
• Understanding of HCM concepts and systems
• Strong attention to detail and drives to dig into complex research and analysis.
• Experience dealing with 3rd party suppliers and a contingent workforce.
• Working knowledge of systems such as professional services automation applications and
SalesForce.com
• Strong proficiency with MS Office tools Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Strong decision-making, multi-tasking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Design and deliver written training recommendations or document additional growth
opportunities for our customers based on knowledge obtained from current project
• Document project work and progress in Salesforce
• Create and maintain Statement of Work and/or Scope Document and Project Plan for work
engagements
• Write specifications as required and submit to the technical implementation team in a
timely manner
• Provide accurate and timely information regarding project status and project hours into
Salesforce/PSA
• Assist with data mapping from source system(s) to UKGPro for various conversion needs
• Provide input on methodology and process improvements on team calls
• Ability to work flexible hours based on customer preference and demand
