Job Summary:
The Solutions Design & Architecture Leader assists in managing and overseeing the global ERP solution, ensuring the quality of solution design and implementation remains intact. This role provides functional and technical leadership to deployment and production support teams, helping them address complex business requirements, specifically in the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) function. Additionally, the leader ensures that all system-related design/architecture documentation is up to date for their respective functional areas, such as manufacturing, order management, Inventory, etc.
Recognized as an Integrated Supply Chain expert, the leader will also contribute to the road mapping of Oracle ERP and Advanced Manufacturing applications. This position supports multiple regions worldwide in designing and implementing a unified business solution/system utilizing enterprise applications like Oracle R12, Salesforce, and Apriso.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in large-scale global ERP implementations, specifically with the Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide subject matter expertise in the Integrated Supply Chain domain, focusing on Supply Planning, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Shop Floor operations during business process re-engineering and solution development. Utilize best business practices supported by the Oracle e-Business Suite.
· Ensure adherence to the fundamentals of a global design footprint and contribute to enhancing this design.
· Maintain the integrity of end-to-end solutions, including legacy integrations and third-party software.
· Offer functional and technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing application forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (FRICE) to address business needs and project scope.
· Lead, coach, and mentor Solution Architects and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
· Identify and coordinate the resolution of critical decisions promptly.
· Review all Change Requests with the Core Apps and Oracle Implementation teams during the Change Review Board.
· Support the enterprise application deployment team by assisting with post-go-live production stabilization activities.
· Collaborate with the Oracle Ecosystem leadership team on various initiatives, such as SBU productivity analysis, site assessments, and other extended assignments.
· Provide input on longer-term strategic initiatives, including RPA, R12/ASCP upgrades, Cloud, and Mobile Apps.
· Facilitate alignment and engagement among key program stakeholders, holding them accountable for delivering on their commitments.
· Ensure alignment with the Project Management Office (PMO) to adhere to standard processes, methodologies, and frameworks for implementation.
· Drive the adoption of standard work processes, standard application functionality, and data standards
Key Experiences and Qualifications:
· Qualified candidates will be driven individuals with strong working knowledge of ERP and integrated enterprise application implementations
· 15+ years of ERP implementation experience with several large-scale ERP implementations
· 10+ years of experience with hands-on working experience with the Integrated Supply Chain domain, focusing on Supply Planning, Inventory, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Shop Floor operations
· Participated in numerous SDLCs and application configurations
· Participated in 2 or more RIE (rapid improvement events or similar process improvement cycles).
· Experience understanding various industrial business-related processes and transforming those into a standard enterprise solution. Knowledge to identify business requirements that map to or items that are gaps in our enterprise solutions.
· Demonstrated experience with: (1) Creation of complex interfaces/extensions, (2) Support of large ERP instances, (3) Management of data conversion activities, (4) Unit/Regression/Integrated/ Stress testing plans and execution, (5) Cutover planning.
· Working knowledge of a software development methodology
· Experience implementing, designing, and enforcing project management methodology and controls.
· Manufacturing industry experience a plus
· Working knowledge of the documentation standard work leveraged by a solution architect (design assessment, process flows, functional specifications, configuration, architectural review, data mapping, testing, application roadmaps, and change management)
· Current on industry-related IT technologies, trends, and best-in-class solutions
· Bachelor’s in engineering or information technology. Master’s degree is a plus.
