Job Description:

   

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee the successful delivery of compliance and regulatory projects, ensuring that all related initiatives are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with relevant laws and regulations. This individual will also serve as a backup for the Operations Lead, stepping into the role as needed to ensure continuity and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing compliance projects, performing gap analysis, and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads both technically and strategically, providing guidance to team members while also overseeing critical technical initiatives.
• Drives cross-functional collaboration, influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization by demonstrating business acumen and ensuring alignment with internal customer needs and broader organizational goals.
• Steers change management efforts, implementing transformations not only within the team but also across the business unit, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and IT strategy.
• Manages and fosters relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
• Champions innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and drive business growth through technology solutions.
• Supports talent development, ensuring team members have the necessary skills, motivation, and opportunities for professional growth and performance excellence.
• Ensures successful program delivery, overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of strategic projects while managing resources, timelines, and risks.

Compliance and Regulatory Project Delivery:

Lead and manage the delivery of compliance and regulatory projects, ensuring all objectives are met within scope, timeline, and budget.Manage project plans, schedules, and resources, tracking progress and mitigating risks to avoid delays or issues.Conduct gap analysis to identify compliance vulnerabilities and implement corrective action plans.Collaborate with legal, audit, and other key stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.Provide regular reporting on project status, including progress, risks, and mitigation strategies, to senior leadership.Oversee project teams, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder management, and alignment on objectives.Ensure that all compliance documentation and deliverables meet required standards and are properly archived.Drive continuous improvement in compliance project delivery through the use of best practices and lessons learned.

Operations Lead:

Act as a backup to the Operations Lead during US hours ensuring smooth continuation of operations enabling follow the sun modelMonitor operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring key business processes are efficiently executed.Provide leadership for the operations team, facilitating problem-solving, resource allocation, and decision-making.Ensure operational objectives are met, while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Lead cross-functional coordination, ensuring alignment between compliance and operational functions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:10+ years of experience in managing compliance or regulatory projects, preferably in a highly regulated industry (e.g., financial services, technology).Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects, performing gap analysis, and developing action plans for remediation.Prior experience in an operations leadership role or as a backup to an operations lead is a plus.Skills:Strong knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, DORA, SOX).Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain focus on critical deliverables.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to work with senior stakeholders, teams, and external partners.Ability to perform detailed gap analysis, risk assessments, and remediation planning.Problem-solving orientation with a proactive and collaborative approach to resolving issues.

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. USD Annual Salary: $115,500.00 - $266,000.00
