About the role:
As a Solution Designer Director, you’ll partner closely with Customers and Prospects to combine strategy, service and engagement, crafting unique meetings and events solutions for our customers. You will collaborate across our internal teams to develop solid account strategies and build innovative and creative service solutions for both new and existing customers. You will partner with our Sales Enablement group to deliver written and visual proposals in response to RFIs and RFPs and continue to evolve BCD’s Value Proposition to remain fresh, authentic, and leading in the marketplace. You will be a part of a dynamic team where a culture of collaboration and bringing different perspectives together is our key to success.

 As a Solution Designer Director, you will:

Genuinely enjoy partnering with companies to help further their Meetings & Events strategies, with ability to be able to balance a visionary approach with realistic steps to achieve goals and objectives.  Identify, qualify, grow, and sustain the Strategic Meeting Management sales pipeline through a variety of new business sales activities including research, lead generation, RFP strategy & management, attending networking events and industry events. Partner, collaborate and design program foundations – both strategy and operational - and work to create innovative and integrated service solutions for new and existing clients. Foster opportunities through both internal and external presence, working across enterprise sales channels, BCD Travel, wider M&E industry, creating and maintaining strong relationships and that lead to net new and/or retention & expansion of revenue for BCD M&E. 

 

You’re good at:

 

Building and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers, customers and their partners. Expressing thoughts and ideas, verbally, in writing and in visual presentations Listening to clients, colleagues and your own intuition – and facilitating a collaborative brainstorm environment Applying strategic meetings management foundations, adoption and strategies, and visionary ideas  Working across time zones

 

You may also have:

Experience in operations, account management or sales within the meetings & events space  A passion for the Meetings & Events industry & pushing boundaries and opportunities for advancement in SMM practices

This a UK based fully remote role Our standard working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm with an hour break You must have the right to live and work in the UK for this role
