We are seeking a Solution Developer/ Support to join a growing Legal Technology team. The role will be responsible for technical development and support of the Legal Technology stack.The Solution Developer/ Support role will report into the Legal and Procurement Systems organization, which is part of the wider Enterprise Technology tower.
Job Description
System Support and Configuration
Liaise with the business to understand their business-as-usual needs, as well as any bugs impacting daily activities. Investigate bugs by conducting root cause analysis to determine appropriate action plan, including impacted users and any data clean-up required.Take a consultative approach in project design discussions by developing a detailed understanding of the business use case, existing process, and data. Work with the business to finalise technical requirements best suited to the needsDevelop calculated fields, condition rules and business processes that support business requirements. Partner with solution architects across teams and technologies to proactively mitigate any issues or impacts to other systems and/or business areas.Act as the translation point between the business, technical integration, and all technical configuration teams for solutions outside of Legal Tech remit.Smoke test all issues before releasing to the business, with a view to optimizing build approach where applicable, and eliminating bugs.Support UAT activities by providing test cases for technical build (both positive and regression).Manage internal releases (e.g. Workday/Salesforce) for the Legal Tech space, as well as vendor releases.Provide well thought out and actionable recommendations. Understand and document impact of technical changes to business processes, communicating these to business stakeholdersDocument and keep up-to-date design documentation in support of the Legal Tech stack, customising for the relevant technology (e.g. pre and post deployment process snapshots, final design documentation, test documentation, changes to final design).Utilize business and technical knowledge to identify improvement opportunities for the technology stack, and submit proposals for analysis that lead to recommendations for systems improvementsLiaise with vendor support re: requests for new functionality & bug/defect fix supportSkills & Competencies
Technical
Workday configuration experience in any area, with ability to pick up configuration of Finance and/or Procurement areas (Invoicing/ Supplier/ Client set up areas are key)Working knowledge of any SalesForce product is a plusHands-on experience with any Legal Tech solutions a plus: e.g. Contract Repository, Contract Lifecycle Management tool, Matter and Invoice management tool, EHS, ESG and screening toolsAdvanced MS ExcelWorking knowledge of PowerBI and other data organization & reporting toolsSoft Skills
