Solution Engineer for Process Mining
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and support to business stakeholders, ensuring process mining insights lead to significant business outcomes such as cost reduction, efficiency gains, and improved decision-makingAdvise internal clients on the technical and functional implementation of process mining, task mining, and automation solutions, with a focus on driving measurable business impactCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and IT, to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications that align with organizational goalsLead and drive the end-to-end implementation of process mining solutions, ensuring optimal performance and high service levels to meet customer needsDesign and implement robust data pipelines using tools like Apache Kafka, Airflow, or Talend to extract, cleanse, transform, and integrate data from various sources, supporting process mining analysis on platforms like CelonisIntegrate and harmonize data from diverse systems, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and reliability for process mining applicationsContinuously monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure high data quality and reliability, addressing issues proactively to prevent disruption of insightsDesign and implement advanced process analyses, leveraging data-driven techniques to identify inefficiencies and understand root causes, while working with stakeholders to recommend and implement improvement strategiesDevelop and optimize execution apps and dashboards to help identify process inefficiencies, automate routine tasks, and implement improvements across business functionsProvide technical support, mentorship, and guidance to team members on data engineering best practices, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environmentStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and innovations in process mining, data engineering, and automation technologies to ensure the team and solutions remain cutting-edge
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field2+ years of experience in management, process improvement, technology consulting, or software services/implementation, with a focus on data engineering, process optimization, and data integrationProven experience as a Data Engineer, specializing in the development and optimization of data pipelines, process mining data models, and end-to-end data integration. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy), and PQL. Experience working with database management systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.Hands-on experience with leading process mining platforms (e.g., Celonis, Signavio) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) for data visualization, reporting, and analysisStrong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, or machine learning to solve complex process inefficienciesFamiliarity with RPA & Workflow tools (e.g., UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, ServiceNow) and AI-driven process automation solutions to streamline business workflows and improve process outcomesAbility to challenge the status quo, think critically, and design innovative solutions to optimize business processes and overcome complex challenges.Strong collaboration and communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM), Lean Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is advantageous.Experience working in agile environments, with a focus on continuous improvement, iterative development, and delivering incremental value to stakeholders.
Desirable Extras:
Certification in Celonis Process Mining or similar platforms, such as UiPath or Signavio, is highly desirable.Practical experience with task mining tools (e.g., Soroco, Celonis Task Mining) to uncover additional insights at the task level.Experience managing international projects, working with diverse teams, and delivering process mining solutions within set timelines and budgets.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and data engineering tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica to build scalable and efficient data pipelines.Knowledge of data governance best practices, including data security, privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and compliance requirements in process mining and data integration.Experience using Databricks for building and managing scalable data pipelines, running advanced analytics, and integrating machine learning models to enhance process mining insights. Experience with Knowledge Graphs to model and visualize complex relationships between business processes, data, and entities. Familiarity with AI techniques (e.g., natural language processing, machine learning) to enhance process mining, predict process outcomes, and recommend process optimizations is highly desirable.
