We are seeking a talented Platform Specialist based in Costa Rica to join our Solution Innovation team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting Sales Engineers (SEs), maintaining and upgrading critical demos, and managing SE demo accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Snowflake and be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of internal and customer-facing technical assets used in sales cycles.
AS A SOLUTION INNOVATION - PLATFORM SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
Maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot existing demos to ensure high availability, performance and relevance.
Ensure proper documentation and update guides for demo maintenance and usage.
Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency in managing demo environments.
Enforce security and compliance standards to ensure demo environments adhere to internal policies.
Test and enforce demo standards for Snowflake Certified content to maintain consistency and quality.
Support and foster SE community submissions, ensuring contributions align with best practices and demo guidelines.
Provide support to SEs for technical issues related to demo content, ensuring they have the resources and tools necessary for successful engagements.
5+ years of experience in technical support, system maintenance, or demo content management.
Strong Snowflake expertise, with experience in Snowflake configurations and best practices.
Experience supporting Sales Engineers, including troubleshooting demo content and providing technical assistance.
Strong SQL expertise, including complex query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
Experience in data engineering, developing data pipelines, transformations, and data lake architectures.
Hands-on scripting experience with Python for automation and system maintenance.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create technical documentation and support materials.
Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
