Key ResponsibilitiesCapture and communicate business direction, challenges and requirementsSuggest practical ideas to enhance business performanceCollaborate with developers, analysts, and architects to design and develop optimal technical solutionsPlan, design, develop, implement, and support IT products and applications to meet customer needsRecommend and implement continuous improvements to standard Cathay IT practicesResponsible for application maintenance and striving for continuous improvements within the application lifecycleTest all aspects of solutions, including security, performance, and integrationManage external 3rd parties as requiredCoach Solution Analysts on any aspect of their roleRequirements
Degree qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology related disciplineMinimum 8 years of IT experience with hands-on solution delivery experience in large scale projectsClient facing experience with successful relationship management is a plusProven verbal and written communication skillProfessional, passionate, innovative, self-motivated and able to present solutions to diverse groups of stakeholdersStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity based on factsProven troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideasAirline or travel industry knowledge is highly beneficialHands-on with JavaScript (JS) and TypeScript (TS)Proficient in React (class-based and functional components)Skilled in system integration (web services, SOAP, REST, JSON, APIs, XML)Backend expertise in Java and Node.jsExperience with Tableau is an advantagePersonal & Application Information
