Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Australia / New Zealand provides contract GMP testing to human and animal pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and complimentary medicine manufactures, as well as an extensive range of SPF and other cosmetics testing, both in-vitro and in-vivo in accordance with a range of local and international standards. The range of testing includes microbiological and chemistry on raw materials, in process and finished products, complemented by product formulation services. We operate out of sites in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland, which are all GMP licensed by local regulators and are accredited to ISO 17025. Job DescriptionThe Solution Preparation Technicians primary responsibility is to support ongoing production activities within the clients Pilot Scale facilities through the provision of process solutions (up to 500 L) but will also provide routine bulk solutions to the development laboratories
The Solution Preparation Technicians will be involved in dispensing materials, buffer preparation and media preparation used in GMP early phase manufacturing operations to support the production activities within the facility.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Weighing & dispensing of raw materialsEquipment preparation – e.g. set up of single use preparation vessels / mixers and balance calibrationDissolution of dispensed powders · pH/conductivity/volume adjustment of resultant solution to specificationSampling and offline testing of prepared solutionsFinal filtration of the solution into storage bag(s)Integrity testing of used filtersCaptuirng & recording steps perfomed via electronic record systemsLabelling all produced solutions with discreet identifiersKeeping work areas clean, organised, neat and tidyCompliance with the client sites OHS / QA Systems and regulatory requirements.Assisting in the development and implementation of continuous improvement project activities,Other duties as requiredAct in accordance with the Eurofins Code of Ethics, and all other relevant policies and procedures, as updated from time to time.QualificationsLaboratory Skills TAFE certificate / Diploma in an appropriate scientific field preferredA minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or GMP environment.Exposure and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectivelyFamiliarity and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Flexible, adaptable to changing prioritiesPassionate about quality and customer serviceGood communication skills both internally and externally.
