We are now looking for a skilled Solution & Service Engineer to join our team in Holmestrand, Norway or Silkeborg, Denmark, supporting our customers across Norway, Denmark, and beyond.

 

As a Solution & Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering technical solutions, commissioning new installations, and providing world-class customer support. You will be a key partner for customers in land-based and marine applications, ensuring optimal performance of Danfoss Power Electronics & Drives solutions.

Job Responsibilities

As our new Solution & Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
 

Providing technical customer support for both local and global clients. Developing and implementing technical solutions for a variety of applications, including marine, offshore, and land-based industries. Attending technical meetings with customers to assess their needs and propose optimal solutions. Managing projects and preparing project documentation, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), technical descriptions and drawings. Commissioning and conducting training for new installations, ensuring customers are fully equipped to operate Danfoss solutions. Performing service and troubleshooting tasks for customers primarily in Norway and Denmark, with international travel as required. Following up on orders and contributing to customer database updates, including opportunity management and sales support. Advancing technical expertise in power conversion, marine and offshore installations. Background & Skills

Problem-solving, proactive thinking, and customer satisfaction are key drivers for you.

 

We also imagine that you:

 

Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Automation (Engineer or Technician). Have significant experience working in a similar environment, particularly related to industrial, marine, and offshore applications. Possess a strong understanding of industrial machines, process automation, and power conversion. Are comfortable with frequent travel, with an estimated 50-70 travel days per year. Have excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Norwegian and/or Danish is an advantage. Hold (or are willing to obtain) offshore certification; training support will be provided if necessary. Have a strong ability to build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
