The Solution Specialist Workday role, as part of the People Platforms team, is to provide functional development, and ongoing support and maintenance for the global Workday platform, ensuring that the platform is current and future business requirements are fully delivered. They will also provide business process support to the business when scoping requirements to ensure optimal value delivery exploiting best practice Workday solutions.
The role works closely with colleagues within the People Platforms team to define the strategy for Workday, building roadmaps which deliver long term value and then delivering those roadmaps through both in-house capability and strategic partners.
Your responsibilities:
Effectively partner with the business to understand the business requirements to reflect into engineering reality
Guiding the HR Functional team during delivery of workday solutions with the focus on translating technical terms into Functional/HR terminology with workable solutions
Participate in developing the strategy and roadmap for the platform, working closely with the engineering teams, stakeholders, and business leaders to align the platform and product with the company's goals and objectives
Define and prioritize platform features and capabilities within area of specialism, working with business units to ensure that the platform is responsive to customer needs and aligned to product requirements
Ensure the solutions delivered are secure, scalable, and high performing, monitoring key metrics and KPIs, identifying and addressing issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize performance and enhance the customer experience
Provide production L3 support to HR & Business for Workday technical incidents and requests, liaising with vendors, where needed and providing timely resolution within agreed SLA’s
Identify common reusable components across platforms and products to ensure greater efficiency and scalability
Requirements for the role:
Experienced Workday qualified professional with experience across multiple projects, along with ongoing application maintenance and support. 5+ years of experience
Be a subject matter expert as a Workday Functional Specialist. Minimum of two Workday modules – with working knowledge across all modules
Excellent business analysis skills in a highly regulated industry e.g., chemical, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical
Business focused; able to build strong working relationships with the HR function and across JMIT; shaping and aligning business and IT strategy
How you will be rewarded:
Salary range for this position is from 40 500 to 61 000 EUR per year depending on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. This role is also eligible to receive discretionary annual bonus that align with individual and company performance.
