Solution Architect (Translations Technology)

The Solution Architect role is responsible for defining and creating tailored technical solutions to support localizations delivery. This is an innovative role that contributes to advancing the technology-enablement of IQVIA Translations Services delivery processes.
Responsibilities:
Architect and design enterprise solutions and/or components tailored to the language services industry, with emphasis on workflow automation and process efficiency.Coordinate with wider IQVIA teams throughout the SDLC to develop and rollout technology solutions utilising established and state-of-the-art technologies.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers and clients to gather requirements, propose solution concepts, provide technical expertise and drive successful implementations.In association with delivery teams, establish methodologies for the successful adoption of the solutions into continuous operation. Create, maintain and update SOPs and guides as applicable.Ensure that the solutions meet information security and privacy requirements and standards.Conduct functional and system testing to validate that the developed solutions meet functional, operational and quality requirements criteria.Create comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, user guides and maintenance procedures.Follow established Design and Development standards including configuration management.Effectively collaborate with technology/service partners and vendors for successful delivery.Stay up to date with emerging technologies, identifying ways to build new or embed with existing solutions.Comply with relevant and applicable IQVIA procedures and SOPs, including Quality Management System.Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in technology field, of which at least 3 years in Solution Definition, Design and Architecture for localization solutionsBachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldExperience of Linguistic Validation (LV) and eCOA processes and platforms is essentialProficiency in relevant programming languages, databases, development tools and cross-system integration toolsExperience working with technical files, TMS and CAT tools (e.g. XLIFF, XTRF, memoQ)Experience in implementation and maintenance of SaaS solutions is desirableExcellent written/verbal communication skills.
