About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Solutions Architect to develop and implement cloud solutions across a diverse range of projects, which can include application development, identity/access management, network, and data management.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Solution Development: This position is responsible for providing thought leadership, developing and implementing solution strategies to grow DMI’s innovation capabilities and supporting DMI business growth. Drive DMI’s innovation roadmap by conducting market research, analyzing our business needs, identifying key partners, and developing DMI differentiating solutions. Provide technical expertise: This position is responsible for providing technical guidance and expertise to other employees in the organization and external stakeholders. This includes providing solution demos and presentations, authoring blogs and marketing documents, leading community of practice, advising engineering project execution.  Support business development and proposals: Provide proposal solutioning and writing support. Author white papers and reusable solution contents for proposals.  Support customer engagement and capability briefings. Represent DMI to present in conferences and public events. Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of relevant Cloud and Infrastructure Solutions and Services experience.

 

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

 

Strong experience in cloud and IT infrastructure (compute, storage, networking) technologies: Must possess current knowledge with the latest trends in technologies, architecture, methodologies, and regulations. Must have hands-on experience in cloud provisioning, cloud engineering, cloud operations, cloud security and cost management. Must have a minimum of 3 years professional experience in the areas of cloud computing, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps. Experience with multiple public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google, ServiceNow, Salesforce) is highly desired.Comprehensive knowledge of latest market trends in cloud, security, DevSecOps, cloud data service, AI/ML, and advanced networking solutions: Must have a good knowledge of modern technologies, architecture, and processes in the following, but not limited to, areas:  AWS, Azure, GCP, and other public and private clouds; adaptive network; cloud-native service development; cloud-based data and AI/ML services, cloud security, managed infrastructure service concepts, etc.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to explain complicated technology concepts in simple terms to non-technical people who are not technical experts in the field. Strong technical writing skill is a must since the incumbent will be required to write white papers, proposal sections, and marketing collaterals.   Experience in proposal solutioning and writing: Must be able to lead or support solutioning for proposals. Experienced in creating graphical illustrations on architecture, roadmap, and concept of operations. Experienced in proposal writing. A track record of creating winning proposals is highly desired.  Must have hands-on experience in technology solution development (reference architecture, system operation and engineering plan, concept of operations, modernization roadmaps), technical briefing, and proposal writing.
