Solutions Architect

The Solution Architect will work on our new solutions for AMK control rooms and across the country’s ambulances, working within an agile team alongside IT, product, and customers. This role involves solution design, strategic planning, and developing innovative products focused on user feedback. Ideal candidates are passionate about creating value with new technologies. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the Oslo and/or Sandefjord office, reporting to the Manager of Professional Services.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with system and functional architects on solution design. Develop strategic roadmaps in close cooperation with customers. Drive new functionality and ensure secure application architecture. Support business in prioritizing and analysing product changes. Standardize platform components, development routines, etc. Participate in projects and development teams, using agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. Potential team/project management responsibilities based on experience.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in system development/architecture. Familiar with both agile methodologies and systematic planning. Knowledge of architecture frameworks, security standards, and business needs. Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English (written and verbal). Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-border projects. Must be able to obtain security clearance at the "confidential" level. Legally eligible to work in the country without employer sponsorship.
