Your role at Baxter:

As part of Baxter digital transformation initiative, a solution architect will fulfill a key role in designing and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that address specific business needs of the Global, Business Segments and Site Quality Organizations. System/solution architects work closely with collaborators, developers, and IT professionals to build a unified and efficient system that aligns with the organization's strategic goals. They should have a detailed knowledge of various technologies.

What you’ll be doing:Executive-level strategic advisors who focus on business transformationDefining and detailing the overall solution architecture to ensure alignment with business objectives and requirements.Working together with business analysts, project managers, end-users, process owners to comprehend their needs and requirements for technology solutionSolves sophisticated, large-scale end-user process requirements to produce solutions that improve end user process execution and efficiency.Evaluating various technologies and platforms and selecting most appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution while considering cost, performance and compatibility with existing infrastructure.Optimally communicate design tradeoffs to collaborators and establish a delivery framework for ensuring system quality and success.Crafting and upholding architectural guidelines and effective practicesEnsures that the solution meets performance, scalability, and security requirements while continuously seeking opportunities for improvementsOffering mentorship and support to development teams to assist them in implementing solutions and resolving any issues.Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues related to the solution to ensure project success.Optimally connect with various teams ensure a cohesive approach to the project.What you'll be having:A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field8 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or similar IT roleProven understanding of various technologies, platforms, and architectural patternsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in coordinating and collaborating with complementary teamsFamiliarity with project management methodologies and toolsNice to have:Experience working with medical devices.
