**Job Title** Solutions Architect **Job Description Summary** The Solutions Architect is critical in shaping innovative and customized solutions to meet clients' facility service requirements. Embarks on a comprehensive journey, commencing with an in-depth exploration and analysis of the distinct client needs and providing an overall elevated value to the client. A detailed oriented and very analytical Solutions Architect engages in a collaborative process, gathering insights from key subject matter experts and stakeholders to formulate a holistic perspective. The ability to manage ambiguity, identify requirements with comprehensive on-site assessments, and connect these exigencies with existing solution frameworks to create solutions that include detailed workload calculations, equipment recommendations & technology, and a complete analysis that not only fulfills client demands but also enhances their overall experience. In addition, the Solutions Architect will be responsible and accountable for the overall collection of deliverables connected to solution design (collectively referred to as the Blueprint), including tracking of changes throughout the process and during the transition/launch and operating stages. The Solutions Architect will work very closely with the Transitions Team and Operations teams to ensure that any changes required during the operationalization of the solution are captured in the overall Blueprint and communicated to the broader organization. **Job Description** **Responsibilities** + In partnership with the Director of Business Development and/or Operations Team, lead a consultative engagement with the prospect/client to understand needs and pain points + Calculate workload, labor requirements, supplies, equipment, and technology needs using industry standards and company best practice analysis, including but no limited to Maintenance, Janitorial, office services, etc. + Develop, implement, and enhance calculators, tools, and templates to model and standardize work loading and resources through facilities on multiple industries. + Analyze industry trends and advancements to incorporate new solutions to enhance our models. + Understand the vision, values, and expectations that drive a prospects selection criteria to ensure alignment as a business partner + Accompany Business Development and/or Operations team members on pre-sales calls/meetings to provide knowledge and support for CWS solutions. + Evaluate prospect/client operations and identify essential solution design, including analysis of the current situation and current contract to identify optimization opportunities + Collaborate with the Solutions Management team to identify existing solutions and programs that can be leveraged for solution design. Additionally, provide insights and feedback to Solution Management to improve our standard solution offerings on an ongoing basis. + Work closely with the Pricing & Risk, Operations, and Labor Relations to ensure solution design aligns with all financial and risk parameters and to finalize costing specific to client/prospect parameters + Work with the Segmentation team to help identify the weakness and strengths of competitors to design solutions to deliver value beyond the competition + Consult key subject matter experts within the Operations organization to ensure feasibility of all solutions + Ownership of the Solution Blueprint. Create and maintain the Solution Blueprint for each engagement or RFP, ensuring all requirements, solution parameters, pricing elements, and stakeholder inputs are considered timely + Provide insight and support to the Proposal Team to ensure consistency in how the final solution is presented to the client/prospect + Work closely with the Transition team and Technology teams to hand off the final solution design (i.e. Blueprint). Engage during post-transition connection points (once the client is operational) to ensure operational changes are reflected in the solution + Blueprint. + Present the final solution design to clients, prospects, and other 3rd party stakeholders – with an emphasis on how the proposed solution meets client/prospect’s needs and requirements + Provide regular updates on the progress of solutions for each engagement + Continually engage subject matter experts (internal and external) as well as key Operators to expand your knowledge of our offerings and programs. **Qualifications and Technical Skills** + Experience solutioning people-based service offerings (consulting, legal, janitorial, maintenance, engineering, etc.) + Strong analytical skills with the ability to create & interpret ambiguous data and trends, performing complex numeric calculations, pricing, and analysis + Advanced Excel proficiency + Strong ability in labor workloading, resource planning, and project management + Knowledge of facility services industry such Janitorial and/or Maintenance a plus + Consultative approach to client/prospect engagement + Excellent interpersonal skills + Demonstrated ability to work in a fluid and dynamic environment Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
